- Try some things from the readings or from class with your kiddos and be ready to tell us about them. It would be great if you included work samples to share as well.
- Revisit the readings as we'll spend substantial time discussing them.
- Massage your literary pieces -- a poem, short story & monologue. Go farther with the one that has the most energy behind it. Be ready to share the progress as we'll have time for response groups.
- Be thinking about the literary portion of the HAT. Have you zeroed in on a student? Gathered a sample? We'll analyze a couple of pieces in class this week.
- Some have not yet provided their drafting for the HAT personal piece. If you would like feedback, please get me a copy.
